Bravery, brave,#bfat, fearsBeing brave is way cooler than being a Superhero.

Okay, Superman and Batman and Catwoman notwithstanding, it would be cool to possess some super dooper power to ward off all the evil anti-heroes. But are they brave? Hell no.

I’ve been bitten by a spider before and never acquired the agility to cling onto a ladder without experiencing vertigo. Super powers alas aren’t not for us mere mortals.

…and without the benefit of some universe divined super power.

We see bravery every day.

A person I know is diagnosed with cancer. Still another faces the dilemma of a parent suffering Alzheimer’s. And another must intervene on behalf of her teenage daughter hooks on drugs.

In the face of every day regular life challenges, we find bravery. People unsure they are up to the task of fighting for their life or the life of someone they love. And they do it.

“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.”
Mark Twain
